What is Tesla Optimus?
Optimus is Tesla’s humanoid robotics programme. Tesla describes a goal of creating an autonomous, bipedal robot to take on repetitive, unsafe or unappealing tasks. That is a development objective, rather than a promise that every task is commercially available.
Why the humanoid form matters
Many human environments have steps, doorways, work surfaces and tools designed around the human body. A humanoid approach aims to work within those spaces. Turning that idea into dependable everyday use also requires perception, balance, dexterity and safe interaction.
What we’re watching
- Task performance and how much human assistance is involved.
- Reliability over repeated work, rather than a single demonstration.
- Published operating limits, supervision and safety provisions.
- Actual commercial terms, regional availability and service support.
Can I order Optimus from Humanoi?
No. Humanoi is not an authorised Tesla dealer or distributor, has no supply agreement with Tesla and is not accepting Optimus orders, reservations or deposits. We have not announced an Australian price or release date.
The Australian perspective
We are preparing for future humanoid robot import and sales opportunities across the sector. Any future offering would need confirmed supply, an assessment of Australian requirements and a credible plan for local support. Our interest in Optimus does not imply it will form part of that offering.

Independent. Upfront. Australian focused. Humanoi has no current affiliation, partnership, authorised dealership or distribution agreement with Figure, Tesla or any other manufacturer mentioned. Brand names identify developments we follow, not products we are authorised to sell.
